You can't beat a nice couple of warm slices of perfectly brown toast with soft butter and tasty jam in the morning. Thankfully this doesn't have to come at much cost as the toaster is one of the cheapest kitchen appliances available!

About
The basic idea behind them is very simple. All that happens is the machine uses infrared radiation (when the coils glow red) to heat the bread. Because of the relative simplicity it means they are low-cost to buy and maintain. Yet toast is really nice for breakfast with your favourite spread, or maybe even for lunch. You can also get all sorts including:

Make sure you shop around before buying, always try and read reviews so you know how good it is. You want to get good value for money, and don't just buy one because it matches your kettle - if it is not very good you will be eating rubbish burnt bread for years!
